IPSY Glam Bag ~ August

Hello Peeps!

Happy Friday to you all. This is my second IPSY glam bag and I am not pretty sure whether I love it or hate it! I think my emotions are in between. I end up liking what other’s get in their glam bag. So here what I got

I am in love with this bag. Its so pretty than the other IPSY bag that I got last time. The quality of the bag is pretty good and its perfect as a travel kit

Lord & Berry Matte Crayon Lipstick

This is the second best thing in this bag. The color is so amazing and its actually very creamy. Doesn’t dry out your lips very much. The color is dark rosy pink which is just perfect for the summer

Olive Face Cream

I am not that sensitive to strong smell but this cream is too much for me. All ingredients are organic and has olive oil in it. This cream moisturize and helps with the fine lines.

Rose Facial Cleansing Gel

I am not familiar with this product but looks promising. This water based infused with rose hip and rose. Amazing for dry skin and helps to cleanse & condition the skin.

OFRA Cosmetics Laboratories

This is pretty awesome. You can use this product both as a highlighter and eyeshot. It looks pretty nice. It gives a natural glow on your face, nothing crazy

Beauty for real I -Line in Black Magic Eyeliner

Pretty impressed by this one. This line was founded by make-up artist Leslie Munsell. This is really very smooth and creamy. If you look at the swatch picture you can see how black it is. Pretty happy with this one

I am not pretty sure if I want to continue with this glam bag or not. As of now I am giving its a 6 out of 10. I am getting lessor know brands which I am not that comfortable trying on my skin. I really hope I get some known brands next time.

Let me know what else can I try? Are you happy with your Glam bag? Lets chat please

Thank you so much for reading this. Happy and relaxed weekend everyone

The New Maybelline Color Sensational the loaded bolds- Swatch & Review

Hello Gorgeous!

Another lipstick swatch and review is here! Maybelline Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds Lipstick is a new richly pigmented permanent Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Collection that launched for Summer 2016 in 20 shades. Lets see what the product claims

Product Claims:

Maybelline’s Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds Lip Color delivers one-stroke intensity with hyper-color pigments and an opaque, creamy clay base.

  • Sumptuous honey nectar leaves a creamy finish
  • Available in a collection of pigment-loaded shades from deep plums and electric blues to vibrant reds and natural nudes
  • Dermatologist tested
  • Allergy tested

I think all the lipsticks brand are changing their games and coming up with more Bold colors. I think I am seeing more bold colors this season than ever. Here are the list of shades that they have come up with :

  • Nude Thrill
  • Gone Greige
  • Mauve It
  • Raging Raisin
  • Coffee Addiction
  • Chocoholic
  • Blackest Berry
  • Gray Over It
  • Wickedly White
  • Pitch Black
  • Violet Vixen
  • Rebel Pink
  • Fiery Fuchsia
  • Berry Bossy
  • Midnight Merlot
  • Smoking Red
  • Dynamite Red
  • Orange Danger
  • Sapphire Siren
  • Midnight Blue

The packaging is just the same. Maybelline has kept their standard see-through lids with a different blueish color.

I bought the color ‘Raging Raisin’ from Target  for $5.59. The formula is really creamy and opaque . It is super pigmented and very easy to apply. They are super comfortable on lips and not drying at all. It really delivers one-stroke intensity with hyper-color pigments. I am more of a nude and pink lipstick lover. Its not completely matte finish but has satin finish to it. The overall look is off matte only. The scent can be a problem to those who doesn’t like scented lips. It has a strong floral scent but wears off easily.

I am yet to discover my bold side 😉 Thats the only reason I just got one to try their formula. All the shades are really pretty and bold. Super happy with the formula and will highly recommend to people with dry lips.

Thanks for reading ! Let me know what is the boldest lip color you own?

Bobbi Brown Art Stick Review

Hello Beautiful,

I can’t believe May is already over! It has been such a crazy month for me with my dance rehearsals and stage shows. So here is my first post of the month and without blabbering much I will start with my review.

My prolonged hunt for a matte long-wearing lipstick led me to Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Brown Berry. An interesting concept of Lipstick meets liner. A two-in-one color in an on-the-go package that delivers a punch of color to lips.

What it does:
‘This chunky pencil glides on effortlessly and delivers a creamy matte finish to instantly step up any look. The perfect blend of emollients and shea butter creates a rich creamy texture that allows for smooth and effortless application with incredibly comfortable wear. The enclosed sharpener ensures a precision application every time.’

I got this beautiful brown berry shade for $28 from Sephora. Strange that this is my first experience with Bobbi Brown’s Art Sticks which was launched last year but I am screaming for more of them! I have a cool undertone ( Medium – Fair) and this looks just perfect on me. One of the representative at Sephora told me that this color works for all skin tone. So all you people who are looking for that perfect nude shade this is the one

We have see so many chunky, chubby lip pencils in the market but what makes it so different is this is actually a Pencil. Yes it is! They are not like the other twit up lip pencils that are available in the market. You have to sharpen them. Guess the old fashion lip pencils are back 🙂

Bobbi Brown describes the finish as “creamy matte,” which is pretty accurate. A light application will yield a semi-matte finish, while the color delivers a satin finish with a very subtle sheen. They are super duper creamy texture that glides across lips easily and flawlessly leaving behind opaque color on a single swipe. These are perfect for those that are not patient enough to apply lipstick and prefer lip pencils.

It wears well through coffee and meals and the best part is it fades prettily. Though I have to say that I wanted more longevity. It doesn’t dry out my lips at all.It sits very comfortable on the lips without migrating to other areas. For those who prefer to streamline, the pencil works nicely as both liner and lipstick. Even when the point has worn down and become rounded, I can easily line my lips. If your lips are very thin, this may be more of a problem for you, but then again, it may not.

Available :Sephora

Thank you for reading this. Let me know if you have tried any other colors?
