I have used Avène products before and I had no complains. This was one of the reasons why I bought their eye contour cream and had a high expectation. Somehow this product didn’t work for me.
Let’s first see what the product says:
A rapid-dissolving anti-aging eye cream Contains Hyaluronic Acid Fragments (HAF) to firm & plump up skin Formulated with Retinaldehyde to sleek fine lines & wrinkles Blended with Dextran Sulfate to minimize appearance of puffiness & dark circles Highly concentrated with Avene Thermal Spring Water to soothe skin Creates softer, more radiant, flexible & younger looking eye contours Perfect for normal to sensitive aging skin
The product claims to improve all signs of aging that occur around your eye area, providing one comprehensive formula to reveal youthful, brighter eyes. Combining two patented technologies, retinaldehyde and exclusive Hyaluronic Acid Fragments (HAF), they work to ease the look of deep wrinkles, fine lines, puffiness and dark circles.
I have been using this product for over 5 months now and I can’t see any difference. I don’t have dark circles or puffiness, I bought this to help me get rid of my fine lines.
The packaging is amazing. It has a pump like tube which helps me to control how much product I want and its hygienic. The texture is thick but its absorbs very quickly and doesn’t have a fragrance.
The texture is really creamy and it really hydrates my eyes but I haven’t seen any improvement. My fine lines is still there even after using it for 5 months. I am very sorry that I sound very negative. I have spent $47 for this product which is not cheap and it hurts a bit when you don’t see any results.
