MAC Lipstick Ruby Woo

MAC Ruby WooI was not lucky to get Riri Woo, the first product to be released in the Riri x MAC collaboration. It’s a limited edition and so hyped up to the point that you can only purchase 1 per transaction (via MAC). Well I am not complaining because I am very happy with my Ruby Woo, very similar to Riri Woo.

Ruby Woo is hands down the best red lipstick in the whole galaxy! There are many reasons and not just one as to why I love this lipstick. It’s the most beautiful, flattery shade of red that matches almost all skin tones. The textures resemble of that of crayon wax but is amazingly pigmented. It doesn’t bleed so it clings to your lips. One swipe of product and your lips are completely covered!

Apart from being the classic, hyped, cult favorite lipstick, Ruby Woo has a bad reputation for being one of the driest lipsticks in the market. It has quite a bit of drying effect on the lips, but nothing that a lip balm over it can’t solve. I suggest exfoliating your lips so it won’t cling to dry patches when you apply this on or put lip balm underneath (worst-case scenario).

Thanks to its matte finish, it’s definitely a long-lasting lipstick. It stays intact for more than 3 to 4 hours. In a nut shell, I am all gaga n woo woo over this product. Apart from being little dry for the lips, I would highly recommend this lipstick. Let me know your thoughts if you’ve tried Ruby Woo as well.

The Ruby Woo is available in any MAC store and costs about INR 990/- (USD 16.5). This is one product that you want to buy from a store and not online.
