Be it your body, your face or your lips, healthy skin is the essence. Due to our lifestyle, eating habits and harsh cosmetics, the natural color of our lips tend to fade and looks unhealthy! Lips tend to look dry, flaky and sometimes show visible red splits and cracks. This could be due to lack of nutrition in our body or simply lack of proper attention.
Chapped lips are very common in winters. If you have lips like me then its an all-seasons game! Due to low temperatures, cold winds and frost, our skin loses natural oil and moisture. Another reason could be lack of water in our body. Water keeps our skin moist and nourishes the skin. So drink lots of water!! Also, add high water-content to your diets such as cucumber, watermelon, orange, grapefruit and lemon.
Proper routine should be followed for those sumptuous lips. Exfoliate your lips once or twice a week.
