Shiseido Perfect Whip

imageShiseido Perfect whipGetting a perfect face wash is like getting perfectly-fitted denims. You know what I mean. Smile When it comes to face wash, I do try out new products which comes in the market and is suitable for my skin type. I never had any particular brand with which I was hitched. But guess, I have found my love! It’s Shiseido’s perfect whip.

If I talk about its packaging, you might not be that impressed. It’s a plain blue tube without any frills or bling. Its gives you a very unisex product look (not the usual pink or red types). The tube of the nozzle is averse to wastage and prevents excessive whip being squeezed out.

The texture is very velvety, creamy and milky. It lathers with the water very easily and gives you lot of foam. When you first put it on it will feel like a mask. After you wash your face, your skin will feel very clean, fresh and clear. Yet, it is not the type of face wash which leaves your skin very dry. It is great for acne prone and oily skin.

This product is not available in the stores in India but is available in outlets like Sasa & Bonjour in South East Asia and Amazon. The cost of a 120g tube is $8.75 a little over INR 500/-. I got mine from Tokyo where you get them at a very cost effective price!

My verdict

  • Leaves your skin clean and fresh
  • Great for all kinds of skin
  • Cheap and effective
  • Lasts long (I mean it because I have been using a tube for more than 7 months)
  • Worth the try and you will not be disappointed
